Hours of Operation:

Sand Dollar Pottery Studio & Shop is open to the public seasonally June-October, Friday-Monday 10-4, by chance or by appointment the rest of the time.

We try to keep regular hours, but life and the weather can get in the way.

Sand Dollar cottage is fully furnished and available for seasonal or short term stays.

Kathryne (Kashka) Kril-Atkins is a potter living and working in the coastal town of Rose Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Guests visiting the shop are encouraged to interact with the pottery, since that 'special pot' is most often chosen by feel, not just by colour or function.

All clay and glazes used at Sand Dollar Pottery are food-safe.

Please note: Although technically dishwasher-safe, we recommend handwashing the pottery you love (extreme heat in drying cycles can warp pottery, and acidic dishwasher detergents can negatively affect glazes).

Please call ahead at (902) 523-2505 or email us.

We look forward to welcoming you.
